Annual Listing of Obligated Projects
Federal law requires the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to prepare a Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to indicate how the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) will be implemented. Along with this requirement, MPOs must publish an annual listing of projects which funds have been obligated in the preceding year as a record of project delivery and progress report for public information and disclosure.
An obligation is the Federal government’s legal commitment to pay the Federal share of a project. In cooperation with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) each region will publish their own list each fiscal year (July - June).
